LinkedIn data shows increase in remote marketing jobs in the US

A new report from LinkedIn shows that there is a constant increase in the number of remote jobs available to US based marketers.

In particular, roles for digital marketing specialists and copywriters grew in demand over the last 6 months as companies became more comfortable with home teams.

‘SEO specialist’ is among the top 5 marketing jobs most in demand for remote positions.

The popularity of teleworking is generally higher, but the growth in telemarketing jobs is particularly high compared to other categories.

On May 20, the percentage of paid job ads on LinkedIn that offered “teleworking” had increased by 457% compared to a year earlier.

For marketing roles, the number of external job ads increased by 177% in the last 6 months.

LinkedIn’s data shows that remote jobs are getting more applicants. They are said to be twice as popular as conventional lists in terms of how many people apply.

Here’s more from LinkedIn’s report, including specific job titles that are growing in demand.

Interestingly, the increase in telework has led to a shortage of marketing professionals to fill office positions.

Cities with the greatest demand for markers

As marketers get used to working from anywhere in their remote positions, they take the opportunity to escape the high cost of living in big cities.
