Google introduces a new structured job listing feature for job listings that allows potential customers to apply directly to the employer’s website.
In addition, Google imposes a new editorial content policy in an attempt to allow users to understand the content of a to-do list and easily apply for it either directly or otherwise.
Let’s first look at the new property with structured data.
New directApply tag for job ads
The new property directApply allows employers to indicate if potential employees have the opportunity to apply for a job on their website.
Google says this checkmark is suitable for job listings that meet a specific set of user actions required to apply for the job. The user must be offered a short and straightforward application process.
Employers offer a “direct use experience”, as defined by Google, if one of these conditions is met:

The user completes the application process on your site. When he arrives at your site from Google, the user does not have to click apply and provide user information more than once to complete the application process.
In other words, if the job list requires applicants to upload a resume and then re-write all the same information in an application form, it is not eligible for this selection.
Website owners can start using this markup right away, though it may not have any immediate effect on search results as Google is working to integrate this information into its index.

New content policy for job ads
Google’s new editorial content policy includes guidance on obstructive text and images, excessive and distracting ads, or content that adds no value to the job ad.
Google asks that job listings also follow basic grammar rules, such as the correct use of capital letters.
Based on research findings, Google offers the following tips to employers to improve job-seeker confidence and potentially attract more applicants:
No scams: Make sure no job listings represent scams or spam. Lists must represent real job opportunities. Improve user experience: Websites with poor user experience ask for user information when it is not needed, has poor quality pages or has complex application processes. Remove expired job posts: Do not leave a job post open if it no longer accepts new applications. Real Dates: Does not mask old jobs as new and does not update the DatePosted property if there was no change in the job posting. No Incorrect or Misleading Information: This includes incorrect salary, location, working hours, type of employment or other job-specific details.
Google’s new editorial content policy for job directories will take effect on October 1, 2021.
